Separator
Continuous and Intermittent Blow-down Separators are designed to separate the steam-water mixture generated from steam boilers blow-down water, condensate of steam accumulators and drainage of steam lines, into steam and water when pressure of steam-water mixture reduces to the pressure inside separator, with further water and steam heat recovery.
- The Separator operation principle involves reception of the steam and water mixture from the boiler and separation of this mixture into steam and water by the effect of expansion and rotational movement of the flow in accumulator unit of the Separator.
- To improve quality parameters of the Separator, it is provided with a two stage drier which allows to significantly boost steam dryness and to increase condensate volume.
